But since the Farmer’s Almanac says that it’s Garden Planting time around here, I found a garden plan that I might could actually get to produce a crop. So if you’re like me, maybe you can plant this garden while everyone else is planting theirs. 🙂
How To Plant Your Garden
PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:
1. Peace of mind
2. Peace of heart
3. Peace of soul
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:
1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:
1. Lettuce be faithful
2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce really love one another
NO GARDEN IS COMPLETE WITHOUT TURNIPS:
1. Turnip for church
2. Turnip for service
3. Turnip to help one another
TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:
1. Thyme for each other
2. Thyme for family
3. Thyme for friends
WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE.
If you and I plant this type of garden, whether we have green or black thumbs, we are guaranteed to produce much fruit for God’s glory. And, we will get to reap what we sow, more than we sow, and later than we sow. It’s the law of the harvest.
“For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers, and as a garden cascades with blossoms, so the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom and puts praise on display before the nations. “ Isaiah 61:11 (The Message)
Have a great week of heart-gardening. 🙂

I like your garden! I have a black thumb too! When I moved in to my husbands house (after we were married) I took over the care of a african violet he received from his mom’s funeral. Well let’s just say it didn’t last long after I took over! I felt to bad!!

This is really cute. My dad, who actually does have an amazing green thumb, would really enjoy this one.
Thanks for the smile and food for thought! 🙂
