Our whole church’s Bible Drill Team passed the “church” drill, and went on to the Associational (or “local area” for those of you dear non SBC friends) drill. And every one of them passed that drill and made it to the State Bible Drill – which is quite an accomplishment. Abigail “won” at the State level! (I’m struggling to learn my 24 verses for the LPM Scripture memory challenge. But if my 10 year old can do it, SO CAN I!)
While she was “in the Word” at the State Bible Drill, I was “in the Word” in Lebanon, TN, speaking at a Spring Luncheon for the ladies of Fairview Baptist Church. It was the sweetest time of fellowship! The ladies did an amazing job of decorating individual tables. Take a look at these: (btw, I took pictures of the tables, but not of any of the ladies. By the time they came in, we were visiting, not posing for pictures!)
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Wow – that’s great about your daughter and you and the Scripture memory – God’s Word is powerful! It is His voice and will never fail.
I liked hearing about your speaking event and the church that is reading the Word non-stop – that is awesome – even a person from Israel – how cool is that?
Your life is full, so many blessings. So good to stop by and visit. I am always refreshed when I do 🙂
God’s peace,
Susan

Hi precious!
WAY TO GO Abigail!! O my goodness she puts me to shame in the LPM bible verse memorization as well Jennifer 🙂 Isn’t it amazing that our kids can grasp things so much easier? Well it’s because they are BRIGHT AND YOUTHFUL!! 🙂 I’m so proud of her and the group. She is so beautiful!!!
Wish I had been in TN to hear you speak. I know I would have been blessed as I’m sure the ladies where and what GORGEOUS decorations and table settings!!!
24 hour Bible reading in the church is AWESOME! O the things that must have happened as a result of that in the spirit realm that will be seen manifested into the natural realm! I BLESS THE LORD O MY SOUL WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING FOR IT RIGHT NOW IN JESUS NAME!
Nathan is so handsome! ENJOY THAT FOOTBALL! I became a football fan in Sept 2006! My husband fell in love with me all over again (just kidding…we love each other like crazy).
I pray blessings over you and your family dear Jennifer. I look forward to hearing and reading even more…I love you.

I was thinking the same thing as I read….”and I’m struggling to learn 24 verses!”.
That’s so amazing, and will be so life-impacting!

I would love to come and hear you speak sometime! Can I invite myself? 🙂
I know you are so proud of your girl! I was never involved in anything like that growing up–but I think that if I would have been, I would be much more of a “studier of the Word” than I am now.
Hope you are doing well–enjoy your day–where did the sun go? Cloudy over here by me!

That sounds like a super weekend. I think the Bible Team is about the best gift to give that sweet girl of yours. I tried to get my two to join and could’nt convince them. I cannot imagine how different my life would have been and be today if I had gained that much of the Word and so young. What a blessing. The ladies luncheon looks fabulous. How fun to have a day to dress pretty and eat at pretty tables while listening to an AMAZING speaker! 🙂 I can’t believe Nathan is starting 7th grade. How fun it will be to cheer for him this coming fall in football! Can’t wait for pictures.
You have yourself a beautiful day my sweet Friend. Love and Hugs coming your way from me… I’m so glad to be back on here and catching up with you!
