A few good Pinterest-Picks for July

We all know that Pinterest is a wealth of resources, and some ideas are just plain fabulous, aren’t they?. Though I pin each super idea I find, most of my pins I’ll probably never do. But others are so practical, they deserve another shout-out. So I present to you some of the most helpful Pinterest picks I’ve found.

Great Ideas:

Setting branches in a vase by using spray foam. Do this with straight branches to hold christmas lights.

Need to trace something? Make a light table with Christmas lights and clear storage container! This would be help full for transferring patterns to a new paper.

Add a magnetic strip to the inside of a cabinet or drawer to hold loose bobby pins.

Use shower rings on a hanger to keep scarves organized and handy.

Use a soapbox to store playing cards.

Parents of girls, take note. A small spray bottle with 2 TBSP of fabric softener, the rest water = “Doll Hairspray.” Easy method for smoothing and renewing any doll’s hair.

Paint some clothes on a Barbie with nail polish so you don’t have naked barbies laying around.

Outdoor tic-tac-toe

Good to Know:

Video of how to do letters – definitely fun and worth a watch!

Dawn Wells, aka Mary Ann from Gilligan’s Island, demonstrates a unique way to peel an Idaho potato…without the use of a potato peeler!

How to fold a t-shirt in two seconds. My mom learned to do it this way and loves it. They actually look like the folded shirts in department stores. I, on the other hand, still don’t have it yet… but I’m working on it. 😉
