We each have a bit of “Delilah” in us… and how to let her go!

Hello my friends ~ I have a new idea:  Even if I don’t have time to write an original blog post, I can at least take the time to share a link to something that has been a blessing to me.  Don’t you think that’s doable?  So… in the five minutes I’ve got at my computer, I want to pass along Liz Curtis Higgs’ latest blog post on Delilah.  So good!

Liz Curtis Higgs  has been a favorite writer and humorist of mine forever!  She is currently going through her Bad Women of the Bible series on her blog.  (I signed up for her posts to be emailed to me – that seems to be the best way to keep up with blogs these days.) Liz is posting about one woman a week, and though each lesson is from her book of the same title, she is adding a fresh perspective on how God is speaking to her about them in this present season of life.  My Sunday School class used this series last summer as we studied Biblical women, and I thoroughly enjoyed being convicted and challenged through each chapter.

We each have a bit of Delilah in us.  To see how to get rid of her in you, click here. 🙂

And when you have time, you’ll want to read about these other women, too.

Praying that this will be a blessing to someone today.  To God be the glory for the great things He has done, is doing, and will be doing in each of  our lives!
