Malta Ministries

Encouraging “Women in Waiting”

to

Love Jesus Passionately,

Walk with Him Intimately,

and Trust Him Completely

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage,
and He shall strengthen your heart.” Psalm 27:14

As found in Acts 27&28, Malta is an island of “rest” after the storm – a place of waiting on God and trusting in God to answer our prayers and to bring about the desires He has placed upon our hearts. In this sense, every believer who has ever “waited on God” has spent time on “Malta”.

This ministry exists to encourage those in “Malta” to love Jesus passionately, walk with Him intimately, and trust Him completely so that He can accomplish His good and glory in and through their lives.

About Malta Ministries and My Calling

At the age of 13, God called me to be a minister’s wife, mother, and encourager of women. Even though I didn’t understand all that “call” would encompass, Jesus used my Godly parents to teach me to pray for my future family and to walk with the Lord on a more intimate level.

Before each of these calls was fulfilled, God allowed me to experience some difficult and painful periods of “waiting on Him” to restore or renew me. His faithfulness through these periods of waiting has been the springboard of His ministry in and through my life.

I’m still in the learning process and continue to find myself waiting in one area or another. But it has been through these “hard times” that God has helped me to know and love Jesus more passionately, walk with Him more intimately, and learn to trust in Him completely. In this way I can “count it all joy.”

It is my life-long desire and humble privilege to encourage others “in waiting” to learn to know, love, walk with, trust, and obey Jesus.

If I were to summarize the message I have been called to deliver (at this stage of my life) it would be:

Jesus loves us so much (John 3:16), forgives and restores us (1 John 1:9), desires to walk with us (Matthew 11:28-30), has incredible plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 55:8-9) and will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Therefore we do not lose heart… For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

(2 Corinthians 4:16-18) Glory to God in the Highest!
